Signs of a Strong Neptune Transit
I've been waiting for Neptune to enter Aries for 14 years, since its been opposing my Sun in Virgo. I'm thankful for all the spiritual gifts Neptune has brought me. Shoutout to Libra Sun~
As the Spring rain pummels the windows and ground all around outside, and I have my warm soup, my fresh flowers, my electricity, and warm clothes, I’m feeling abundantly grateful this evening. Neptune is finally entering the sign of Aries.
Neptune is leaving Pisces - today, March 30th, 2025. This is one of the biggest astrological events of this year, and a major shift in our years to come. Neptune will remain in Aries (minus a little retrograde back into Pisces later this fall/winter), for 14-15 years.
Neptune entered Pisces and began its opposition to my Virgo Sun, South Node, Lilith in late 2010, and early 2011. To say that Neptune had a major affect on my spirituality, outlook, overall well-being would be an understatement. Neptune opposing my Sun was the most powerful astrological transit of my life (so far).
Many people will not experience a Neptune opposition in their lifetime, but now Libra Suns and Libra placements will experience the supernatural spiritual force of Neptune for the next 15 years. If you have a Libra Sun that is in an early decan of Libra, you’re probably already experiencing a strange & unexplainable shift in your life.
Some Signs of Strong Neptune Transit:
Themes of Addiction - you think you know your body, your mind, and you’ll be fine. Suddenly things are slipping out-of-control and you’re experiencing confusion, personality changes (due to dependency), and selfishness on a whole new level. Overcoming addiction of any kind (substance abuse, limerence, toxic relationships, etc.) is a sign of a Neptune transit.
Spiritual Awakening - Profound Loss, lessons, Ego Death is possible, dissolving of the Self or selfish patterns. A sudden and strong spiritual breakthrough that changes your outlook on life. Strange occurrences will happen. It will be difficult to explain to others. Experiencing a Higher Power (whatever that means to you) will be powerful. God is actively trying to reach you, and if you’re open enough, you will be reached.
Heightened Acceptance of a Metaphysical Reality - There is something unseen working behind all material reality, Neptune inhabitants recognize this easily. You may suddenly develop an interest in more Metaphysical topics - a crystal is no longer a crystal, but something that helps you deepen your meditation or amplify your confidence. Supernatural activity, religious studies, tarot, astrology, prayer, pilgrimage - Neptune makes us a student of all things that cannot be quantified (yet) by science.
Overcoming The Need To Control - Surrender is a major teaching of Neptune. When we surrender control, embrace non-attachment, we can become capable of deep Compassion for ourselves and others.
Seeing the Bigger Picture - You can understand what others’ are going through, you are not impatient or worried anymore. Having a mindset that says, “Everything Happens for A Reason” can be very powerful in most day-to-day issues.
Immersing yourself into a larger (unknown) Collective - Neptune has weak boundaries, and in the sign of Pisces we’ve seen this in our overall culture and world - people are relocating all over the world and typically welcomed into new communities with open arms. Neptune will dissolve the Self and willingly become a part of community. This makes us more susceptible to new cults. Cult behavior is a byproduct of these watery boundaries.
Profound Dreams and Insights - You will learn more about yourself and the world around you when you stay open-minded with Neptune. You will have inspiration pouring down into the top of your head, and you’ll suddenly be compelled to create art, poetry, songs, videos, screenplays, or even businesses. Neptune can inspire you to reach for new heights.
Now that we have Neptune in Aries, we will see a new world of boundaries and change. Aries is hard-headed and pioneering, rather than absorptive & emotional Pisces. Independence will be a major theme in some way- we may have to spiritually grow when we discover how we cannot be as independent as we’d life. We will want to unite with others but still retain our independence spiritually, and will need to learn how to embrace others for all their flaws.
I’m so excited for this new chapter, I feel a burst of Spring energy and I’m ready to go into the future. If it’s hard, let it be hard. Let’s overcome it, go through it, and get to it.
